Who can serve in the Police?
- You are an ideal candidate for service in the Police if you:
- Have at least secondary education.
- Are physically and mentally capable of serving in armed formations subject to special service discipline, to which you are prepared to submit.
- Provide assurance that you will maintain confidentiality in accordance with the requirements set out in regulations on the protection of classified information.
- Have a regulated status regarding military service—in the case of persons subject to military qualification. A police officer’s service relationship arises through appointment based on voluntary application for service. Appointment may take place after completion of basic military service or transfer to the reserve. This means that a person unfit for active military service in peacetime (category “D”) who is also a reserve soldier meets these conditions. Therefore, having health category “D” does not disqualify a candidate applying for admission to service in the Police.
- Have Polish citizenship. Dual citizenship does not disqualify a candidate during the recruitment process.
- Have an impeccable reputation.
- Have not been convicted by a final court judgment of a crime or fiscal offense.
- Enjoy full public rights.
All tests as part of the recruitment process take place at the Voivodeship Police Headquarters in Wrocław; those interested can prepare for the physical fitness test under the supervision of police instructors.
The officers add:

Classes preparing for the physical fitness test, held at 14 Poznańska Street in Wrocław, have been suspended until 16 April 2021.
