As reported by the Onet.pl:
As of Saturday, not only organizing but also participating in assemblies “including events, meetings and gatherings, regardless of their nature” is prohibited.
Until now, only the organization of assemblies had been prohibited. However, the law recognizes spontaneous assemblies, which by their nature have no organizer.
From the date the regulation is published, anyone who participates in any assembly may be punished.
Interestingly, this ban was not mentioned during Wednesday’s press conference by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Minister Adam Niedzielski. Now, a participant in any assembly may be punished. The new regulations are to remain in force until April 9.
