The culmination of the March field training was the regiment’s Fire Control Training (TKO), codenamed NAWAŁA-21, conducted on 16–17 March with live ammunition firing. The main aim of the training was to improve the execution of general fire-support tasks using live ammunition by the regiment command post crew and fire subunits. The TKO also provided an opportunity to improve engagement procedures as part of PWO within the DIVARTY structure.

As part of the Fire Control Training, the coordination of all elements of the combat formation in the fire-control process was also tested, from detecting the target, through developing firing data, to engaging the target and assessing the effects.

In addition, alongside the TKO, methodological demonstration classes entitled “Tactical and Fire Capabilities of the 155 mm Krab self-propelled howitzer squadron” were organised as part of the training and methodological course of the Commander of the 11th DKPanc with subordinate military-unit commanders. The main aim of the classes was to familiarise participants with the new type of combat equipment and its capabilities, as well as with the duties of individual personnel during the preparation and execution of fire missions.

Every field training exercise is an opportunity to improve artillerycraft, enabling the exercising subunits to carry out a range of tactical and fire missions. Training for all subunits will conclude with their return to the garrison and equipment servicing.
