Officers from the Police Station in Nowogrodziec, while carrying out official duties in Świętoszów, noticed damaged property in the form of a smashed road mirror.
After determining that the damage occurred during the night of 5–6 March, the officers reviewed nearby CCTV footage, which recorded the moment the crime was committed.
The footage shows a man throwing a stone toward the road mirror, causing its destruction.
The police established the perpetrator’s identity. The 22-year-old resident of Osiecznica Municipality was charged with destroying property worth PLN 800 and faces up to 5 years in prison.
