On 10 March, at the request of the Jelenia Góra District Prosecutor’s Office, the local court ordered Grzegorz G. to be remanded in custody for three months. He has been charged with robbing employees of a grocery store and a petrol station in Jelenia Góra.
The first robbery took place on 5 March. After entering one of Jelenia Góra’s grocery stores, Grzegorz G. pointed an object resembling a firearm at the shop assistants and then demanded money. He took PLN 932.

He committed another offence in a similar manner on 7 March. The man entered a petrol station and, after intimidating the employees, took PLN 2,336.
The aggressor’s identity was established. The 36-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra was arrested and brought before the prosecutor’s office, where he was charged. He now faces a prison sentence of between three and as many as fifteen years.
