Care for free-roaming cats from Bolesławiec is entrusted to associations whose statutory purpose is animal protection. In 2021, as part of an open call for proposals, the public task “Ecology and animal protection and protection of natural heritage – improving the living conditions of free-roaming animals (in particular cats) in the Municipality of Bolesławiec” will be carried out by Stowarzyszenie Pomocy Zwierzętom w Bolesławcu. Care for free-roaming cats will include, among other things:

  1. feeding,
  2. reducing the population through sterilisation and neutering,
  3. treatment when necessary,
  4. conducting information and educational activities.

The City of Bolesławiec provides round-the-clock veterinary care in the event of road accidents involving animals by concluding an agreement with an animal clinic for veterinary services. In 2021, care in the event of road accidents will be provided by:
