Hello, does anyone know whether there are any cameras in the area of Łasicka Street / Peace Square? Today, between 6:20 and 6:45, some idiot attacked my mother and stole her handbag. She got off an MZK bus and was heading toward Starzyńskiego Street.

The Bolesławiec police are handling the case. The assailant stole the woman’s handbag, which contained a phone, documents and money. Efforts are underway to establish the thief’s identity and apprehend him.

The man will probably face charges of brazen theft, which carries a sentence of between six months and as much as eight years in prison.
