A 33-year-old resident of Bolesławiec broke into a passenger car in the city center on the night of February 8–9 and stole various valuable items, including a radio. But that was not the end of it. Two days later, he broke into another car. This time, the thief’s haul included a payment card. KPP:

The suspect very quickly took advantage of the opportunity to pay for his purchases with someone else’s card. Within two hours, the perpetrator accessed the bank account seven times, making contactless payments with the card belonging to the victim.

The man was detained. He has already heard the charges, to which he confessed. He could now face a sentence of between one and as many as ten years in prison.
