On February 10, officers from Bolesławiec County arrested three drivers who had violated court bans on driving. The first to be caught was a 23-year-old whom officers spotted on one of Bolesławiec’s streets. KPP:

The police knew that the city resident was subject to an active court ban, so they immediately arrested him when they saw him behind the wheel.

(The ban applies to the 23-year-old until 2022).

In Gromadka Municipality, officers from the station in Kruszyn stopped a vehicle driven by a 38-year-old known to them. This man had also disregarded the court’s ruling.

The third person arrested was caught by traffic police. Since 2019, the 47-year-old moped rider from Bolesławiec has been subject to a lifelong ban on driving any motor vehicle.

All three could now face between three months and up to five years in prison.
