The incident occurred on January 20, in the evening, on Kopernika Street in Bolesławiec. A woman who was out walking with her dog was attacked by a German Shepherd. The dog bit her hand. (The injured woman received stitches at the hospital.) Unfortunately, the woman’s pet was less fortunate: it was mauled to death by the aggressor.
Bolesławiec police were at the scene. The officers established the identity of the dog’s owner. The case was referred to court. The owner of the aggressive German Shepherd could face a fine of up to PLN 1,000.
