Rock Burst at the Rudna Mining Complex. 15 People Evacuated from the Hazard Zone

The incident took place on January 20 in the evening at the Rudna Mining Complex (Lubin County). KGHM reported:

A total of 15 people were evacuated from the hazard zone at the Rudna Mining Complex. At the mine, in the GG-2 area, at section G-11, a rock burst with an energy of E=1.4xE7 occurred as a result of blasting operations.

Earlier, the company had reported that 6 workers had been evacuated.
