Lwóweccy criminal police officers detained a 37-year-old man who, together with his partner, stole electronic equipment used to broadcast Mass online on January 4, after the morning service at the Church of Saint Francis of Assisi in Lwówek Śląski. The value of the stolen property was PLN 2,700.

Surveillance cameras recorded the images of the two perpetrators, whom police officers from the Criminal Department quickly identified. As a result of operational activities, police detained the 37-year-old man and his 27-year-old partner.
She adds:
The evidence collected in the case made it possible to establish that the man had committed a number of other thefts, including burglaries of cellars and shoplifting. He will stand trial for them.
The 37-year-old now faces between one and as many as ten years in prison. His partner, meanwhile, could be jailed for five years.
