As we read on the Facebook profile of the volunteer firefighters from Różyniec:
In 2020, our unit responded to various incidents 119 times. On 102 occasions, PSP called us to respond to fires, accidents, flooding and fallen trees. We took part in exercises at facilities twice, and on 15 occasions we were called to help residents of our municipality deal with hymenopteran insects (hornets).
The uniformed firefighters add:
For us, it was a busy year. We hope that the new year will be safer for us, the residents of our village and the municipality, and that our unit will not have to intervene so many times. We thank everyone for the kind words and the help offered to us. We thank the Mayor and the Municipal Council for understanding our equipment needs and for their financial support.
