Medical doctor Artur Nahorecki, today at 6:00 p.m., will share with us the available knowledge about vaccines against COVID-19, talk about vaccinations at the Bolesławiec hospital, and about the facility’s operation after vaccinations. During the interview, you can ask our guest your own questions.

Artur Nahorecki:

We vaccinated zero celebrities, unless we call hospital employees celebrities.

So far, we have vaccinated 180 people. From Monday, we will vaccinate more people.

I received the first vaccine on Tuesday. Apart from slight pain in my arm, I felt nothing else.

Having had coronavirus is not a contraindication to vaccination. People who have recovered should get vaccinated.

The entities responsible for the effects of medicines are the distributor and the medicine manufacturer.

The vaccine administered sensitizes the immune system to the virus.

For now, we do not know how long the vaccine will protect us.

One vial can provide six doses of the effective vaccine.

Some people try to gain popularity through ignorance. Education and dispelling certain myths about the harmfulness of vaccines are needed.

Many people who come to my ward previously did not believe in coronavirus or the epidemic.

The hospital has surgical, orthopedic and gynecological wards. It also has an Emergency Department, as well as some outpatient clinics located at the hospital.

At the beginning of February, we will reopen the pediatric ward.

I hope that we will vaccinate as many people as possible, overcome this epidemic and be able to live normally.

Registrations for vaccinations are expected to begin in the second half of January.

First, elderly and ill people will be vaccinated. Later, other groups.
