Around noon, the disappearance of a 43-year-old resident of Bystrzyca, Wleń municipality, was reported. All the circumstances suggested that the missing man was in a situation posing a threat to his health and life. After approximately 30 minutes, the Police Search and Rescue Group of the County Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski was dispatched to the scene of the disappearance. A poster of the missing man was published, and additional officers who happened to be on duty were sent out.
Firefighters from Lwówek Śląski, Wleń, Pilchowice and Radomice joined the operation. The missing man’s body was found after less than 50 minutes in a rapeseed field, approximately 170 metres from his home. Lwówek na sygnale:
