It concerns our health and responsibility for our loved ones and fellow citizens, as well as returning to normality, Piotr Roman explained.

– According to mathematical models, information from specialists, and the director of the Bolesławiec hospital, we can fear a third wave of infections in January and February. We need to be careful, especially with older people, because the mortality rate among seniors exceeds 10% – Piotr Roman said in the interview.

The president stressed that the Covid-19 vaccine is an alternative: either we get vaccinated, hoping that we will not become ill, infect our loved ones, and that some of us will not die, or we do not get vaccinated and face the risk not only of our own illness, but also of harm to the health and lives of our loved ones.

– When I watch some politicians on television, I lose faith in these vaccines because I know how many times they have made mistakes they were unable to admit – the president added. There probably are not many people left who say that the coronavirus does not exist. The coronavirus exists, it is very dangerous, and the vaccine gives us hope that we will return to normal times; I think we have all had enough of the lack of personal contact and relationships – Piotr Roman said.
