The “Bolesławiec Yearbook 2019” is 208 pages long and is divided into 8 thematic sections. It contains 34 articles, including studies of local historical issues, accounts of events significant to the local community, recollections of Bolesławiec residents, descriptions of the work and passions of the city’s residents, as well as reviews and discussions of publications issued in the previous year. An important part of the periodical is also an extensive chronicle of local events that took place throughout the year.
The Research into the History of Bolesławiec section includes an article by Jan Żuralski about the 6th Dresden Tank Regiment in Bolesławiec (1948–1949). The Articles and Materials on Local Subjects section contains 10 articles by Jan Paździora, Lesław Kasprzycki, Danuta Maślicka, Alina and Dariusz Rataj, as well as Maria Czyżowicz, Roman Bodak and Zdzisław Mirecki, Barbara Smoleńska, Zygmunt Brusiła, Henryk Dumin, Ewa Ołenicz-Bernacka and Eugenia Alina Wolska.
An interesting part of the “Bolesławiec Yearbook 2019” is the Communications section, comprising 6 texts by Beata Domerecka, Andrzej Żurek, Zygmunt Brusiła (two articles), Kamilla Dudek and Zbigniew Skop. In the Recollections of Bolesławiec Residents section, readers can find 7 articles written by Ewa Ołenicz-Bernacka, Anna Stawiarska, Lesław Kasprzycki (two articles), Marian Kostecki, Janina Korol and Zuzanna Mróz. The Passions of Bolesławiec Residents section was written by Bernard Lewandowski, Edmund Maliński, Szczepan Chmielowiec and Przemysław Kania. The In Memoriam section was prepared by Edmund Maliński and Lesław Kasprzycki.
The penultimate section is the several-dozen-page Bolesławiec Chronicle, prepared by Edmund Maliński and Magdalena Zientara, documenting the most important events of 2019 and illustrated with photographs from the jubilee 25th Bolesławiec Ceramics Festival.
At the end, readers will find reviews and discussions of publications written by Bolesławiec residents or issued by local institutions. The publication concludes with a list of the editorial board members and collaborators involved in preparing and publishing the “Bolesławiec Yearbook 2019”.
