Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters:
The suspect came to one of the markets in Bolesławiec in the early morning hours and stole 50 game discs for a console. When a shop employee intervened, the man threatened to use violence with a baton and pepper spray.
As a result of intensive efforts, officers determined where the perpetrator was staying. When he saw the officers, he attempted to flee, but was detained very quickly.
The police secured a backpack containing some of the stolen property. The suspect is a 22-year-old resident of Bolesławiec. It came to light that he had three more offenses on his record: two thefts and possession of drugs.
The young resident of the City of Ceramics was charged with four offenses. At the officers’ request, the court placed the suspect in temporary custody for two months. The man now faces a sentence of between one and as many as ten years in prison.
