The incident occurred on Saturday evening before 10 p.m. The emergency services were informed that a young man in one of the buildings on Tysiąclecia Avenue wanted to poison himself with gas.
When the firefighters arrived, it turned out that the man (probably under the influence of alcohol) was outside the building. His father, also probably drunk, remained in the apartment.
The emergency services did not confirm any danger; there was no gas present in the air inside the apartment.
The young man was taken to a psychiatric hospital.
