Throughout the night, the officers moved to various locations in Bolesławiec County to check not only vehicles in motion and their passengers, but also cars parked in large parking areas where truck drivers stop for longer rest breaks.

In the Warta Bolesławiecka commune, a passenger car was stopped for inspection. A 21-year-old man was behind the wheel and was wanted by a court in Legnica. The passenger was a 35-year-old resident of Legnica County, and officers found narcotics on him.

Testing of the secured substance confirmed that it was marijuana, from which 40 saleable doses of the drug could be prepared. The man detained for possession of narcotics faces up to 3 years in prison.
