Throughout the training period, while observing the applicable epidemiological restrictions, the trainees, under the supervision of instructors from the 23rd Artillery Regiment, learn the fundamentals of military service. During this intensive training, candidates for professional soldiers acquire knowledge of various military subjects, such as marksmanship, regulations and tactics.

They also undergo medical training in first aid and terrain familiarization. The trainees’ participation in the training provides additional motivation for diligent study and a desire to prepare for the examination they will take on the eve of the ceremonial military oath.

The variety of training conducted by the commanders and instructors of the Preparatory Service Training Centre helps shape morale, discipline and physical fitness, while also providing a foundation for candidates who plan to join the professional enlisted personnel corps in the future.
