On Saturday, September 12, Świętoszów became the site of a solemn military oath ceremony. On the parade ground, 192 recruits stood after completing their training, spoke the words of the oath and officially began the next stage of their military careers.

The ceremony was attended by recruits from three military units: the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade in Świętoszów, the 4th Anti-Aircraft Regiment in Czerwieńsk and the 23rd Artillery Regiment in Bolesławiec.

The military oath was sworn to the standard in the presence of the soldiers’ superiors, families and loved ones. For the recruits, it was one of the most important moments at the beginning of their military service.

The report on the subunits’ readiness to begin the ceremony was received by the deputy commander of the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade, Col. Dariusz Bielecki.

The soldiers were congratulated on their decision to begin service. They were wished perseverance, soldiers’ strength of spirit and satisfaction with the professional path they had chosen.
