The modular hospital has not yet been opened, but the county authorities are considering opening another isolation facility in our county. (Importantly, this time outside Bolesławiec.) As Bolesławiec County Head Tomasz Gabrysiak stresses, no decisions have yet been made on the matter. However, talks with property owners in the vicinity of the Ceramic City have already taken place.

Whether another isolation facility will be opened, and when, is not known for now. Everything depends on the situation at the Bolesławiec hospital and the decision of the Lower Silesian Voivode. We will certainly return to the subject.

Let us recall. In September, we reported that the first isolation facility had opened in Bolesławiec. Tomasz Gabrysiak said at the time:

The hospital director decided—in consultation with the voivode and the National Health Fund—that one of the former hotels would be designated as an isolation facility. Generally speaking, the idea is that people infected with COVID-19 but experiencing less severe, non-life-threatening symptoms can stay outside the hospital. Of course, they will remain under the supervision of hospital staff.

The isolation facility, located in the former Elite motel, has space for more than 50 patients. The costs of the project are covered by the National Health Fund and the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Office.
