As you can see in our photos, people are placing candles in front of the cemetery’s main gate. The man who sells flowers and lanterns told us that on the evening of November 1, there were many young people jumping over the cemetery wall and going to light a candle.
Cemeteries will reopen on Tuesday. At last, it will be possible to visit the graves of the dead. We have a photo gallery from All Souls’ Day at the cemetery in Bolesławiec. Perhaps the necropolis has never been so empty since the war.
