“OSE School Multimedia Packages” are a form of support for schools provided by the Minister of Digital Affairs in consultation with the Ministry of National Education, through NASK PIB, as part of the project to build the Nationwide Education Network. As the OSE operator, NASK PIB was authorized under the Nationwide Education Network Act to provide schools free of charge with computer equipment and other multimedia devices, as well as to provide schools with wireless Internet access together with software and the necessary devices enabling them to use these services.
NASK PIB, exercising its statutory powers and mission to support schools in developing digital education, provided the school with an “OSE School Multimedia Package” (hereinafter SPM), consisting of sets comprising: a Huawei MediaPad 5 tablet with mobile Internet access service (LTE service), a wireless keyboard (Bluetooth) with a case, a stylus, and a logo in the form of a sticker to be attached to the tablet case.
The educators at Primary School No. 3 are aware that they have taken a rapid and decisive step into the age of the digital and modern school. Universal access to information and the vast resources of the Internet mean that ICT tools can be used at every stage of the teaching process. Teachers offer students numerous activities by conducting classes using various technologies and making use of the resources available to the school. To effectively support the achievement of lesson objectives, educators select tools that meet students’ needs and increase their motivation and interest in learning.
The institution’s main goals are, above all, to promote the use of modern information and communication technologies (so-called ICT) in teaching and to encourage students to use the Internet and mobile devices practically and consciously, both at school and beyond.
The equipment provided is a tangible form of assistance for both the students and teachers of Primary School No. 3. It contributes to improving the digital education process and access to educational content online, including through the OSE IT School educational platform, as well as supporting remote learning. It also allows them to experience the many possibilities offered by modern information and communication technologies, which not only entertain but also make learning, acquiring new skills, and communication easier.
