A public support group called “Bolesławiec in Quarantine” has appeared on Facebook. “The group was created to help others during this difficult time of COVID-19. That is its purpose,” says Ms Kinga, the group’s administrator. “We will post information about who needs help and who can provide it, such as walking a dog or doing the shopping.”
What is the group’s reach?
Ms Kinga: “The aim was Bolesławiec and the surrounding area, but we cannot refuse to help people from another town. If kind-hearted people come forward who want to help those who cannot leave their homes, it will be a great help to them. A great many people do not have such assistance and are completely on their own.”
