The head of the Ministry of Education and Science Przemysław Czarnek spoke on TVP Info, among other things, about remote learning in primary schools. Asked whether such teaching would also be introduced in grades 1–3, he replied:

Not at this point. There is no such need, also because, according to all statistical data and the opinions of experts and specialists, children up to the age of 10, or 12, and especially up to the age of 10, are the least exposed to infection and are also the least likely to transmit the coronavirus. Therefore, grades 1–3 will remain in schools.

Remote learning in grades 4–8 for longer?

The newly appointed minister also addressed the issue of remote learning in the upper grades of primary schools:

This will continue for as long as necessary for the health and safety of our students, our teachers, education workers, our university students and our professors. But also for as long as necessary to stop the rise in coronavirus infections in Poland and reduce their number.
