As part of the fight against illegal gambling, police officers from Bolesławiec once again joined forces with officers from the Customs and Tax Control Department in Zgorzelec. The result? Another gambling arcade has been shut down.
KPP Bolesławiec:
The premises entered by the services contained three numerical game machines. The value of the property secured was more than PLN 35,000. The machines had games of chance installed for commercial purposes, which requires a concession to operate a casino.
Further proceedings in this case will be conducted by tax control officers. Let us recall that organizing gambling games in violation of the law is punishable by up to three years’ imprisonment.
