What are the basic criteria for nominating graduates of primary schools residing in the city of Bolesławiec for the “Mayor of Bolesławiec Award” for outstanding achievements in the 2019/20 school year?

  • an average grade of 5.1 or higher;
  • exemplary or very good conduct;
  • eighth-grade examination results in Polish, mathematics and a foreign language ranging from 75% to 100%. In the eighth-grade examination, the student had to achieve between 75% and 100% in at least two parts.

The nominated graduates had to have individual achievements (not team achievements) in competitions, contests and olympiads at least at the county level:

  • in county and regional competitions – first place (finalists);
  • in provincial, national and international competitions/olympiads/events – finalists (first, second or third place).

Outstanding achievements that deserved recognition and resulted from basic activities carried out as part of fulfilling the schooling obligation were also awarded points. The graduates’ achievements concerned only students registered by their school to participate in competitions.
