The incident occurred on Wednesday, October 14, before 10:00 a.m., near the village of Wykroty (Nowogrodziec municipality). The driver of an Audi, a 39-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County, failed to adjust his speed to the road conditions, crossed into the opposite lane and collided with a van driven by a 64-year-old man from Zgorzelec County.
The Audi driver was injured and taken to hospital. It is not yet known how serious his injuries are.
