The hospital director, in consultation with the provincial governor and the National Health Fund, decided that one of the former hotels would be designated as an isolation facility. Generally, the idea is for people infected with COVID-19 but experiencing milder, non-life-threatening symptoms to stay outside the hospital. Of course, they will remain under the supervision of hospital staff.
The isolation facility will accommodate more than 50 patients. The National Health Fund and the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Office will cover the costs of the project.
The isolation facility is located in the former Elite motel.
