Due to the modules’ large dimensions, they could only be transported and unloaded at night. The containers have already been positioned on the grounds next to the County Hospital.
The modules delivered to Bolesławiec are currently being properly connected, while work is underway inside to adapt the facility to hospital requirements.
Construction is progressing smoothly, meaning that the separate building for patients infected with coronavirus will be opened by the end of this month. This will help avoid a situation in which the entire hospital might once again have to be closed to other patients.
The building will house a ward for 65 patients infected with SARS-CoV-2.
