The incident took place on Saturday, September 26, in one of the large cosmetics stores. Perfumes worth nearly PLN 900 were stolen there. KPP Bolesławiec:
When the security guard intervened, violence was used against him, after which the perpetrators drove away from the scene.
The suspects were detained. They are residents of Bolesławiec, aged 19 and 23. Both were charged with robbery theft. Police officers said: “Additionally, their method of operation was deemed hooligan-like, which increases the penalty for the crime committed.”
The younger resident of Bolesławiec faces between one and 10 years in prison. The older man is a repeat offender; he could be jailed for up to 15 years.
At the request of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Bolesławiec, both suspects were remanded in custody for two months.
