The ceremony was attended by the commander of the 23rd Artillery Regiment, Col. Marek Wasielewski, the staff of the Academic Legion Training Centre and soldier-students of the Academic Legion.
During the ceremony, the Centre’s commander presented students who had completed the training as part of the practical component of the non-commissioned officer module of the Academic Legion programme with certificates of completion and appointments to the rank of corporal.
In his speech, Colonel Wasielewski thanked the students for their activity and commitment to the training, which took place during their summer break; he congratulated them on their promotions and successful completion of this part of the training. He also wished them success in their further military service and safe journeys home, while thanking the staff of the Academic Legion Training Centre for delivering the training.
The ceremony also provided an opportunity to present commendations to the soldier-students who achieved the best results throughout the entire non-commissioned officer module training cycle.
