The management of the Carrefour store in Bolesławiec notified the police about the case. It turned out that the cashiers did not give the store’s customers promotional vouchers. They kept them for themselves and then converted them into cash.
The store’s losses were initially estimated at tens of thousands of złoty. Charges have already been brought against four cashiers, all of whom live in Bolesławiec.
The investigation is ongoing and developing. Police do not rule out further arrests. The suspects face up to 8 years in prison.
