On September 18, a meeting of the Bolesławiec Senior Citizens’ Council took place. The main item on the agenda was adopting a resolution to honor the late Stefania Tajcher. How? By naming a street or square in the City of Ceramics after the first postwar teacher and organizer of the school system in Bolesławiec. (The motion on this matter was presented by Helena Strzelczak-Kunicka, chairwoman of the BSC.)

The adoption of the resolution was preceded by a lecture by Dr. Edmund Maliński, presenting Stefania Tajcher’s life and work.

What do you think? Is it a good idea? We invite you to join the discussion.
