On September 11–13, the Polish Junior Championships were held in Radom. A team of athletes from Bolesławiec took part in the competition. Bolesłavia:
We had the most representatives in the throwing events, where we also achieved our highest placements at the Championships.
Gracjan Kozak, coached by Tomasz Markowski, became the Polish runner-up, achieving a throw of 54.55 m with the 1.75 kg discus. Gracjan also took second place in the shot put, finishing with a result of 18.30 m.
Maja Karasiewicz took 9th place, throwing the javelin 38.46 m. In the discus throw, Grzegorz Czepiel finished 11th with a result of 42.13 m, while in the hammer throw he took 15th place with a result of 44.93 m.
High jumper Iza Kalenik also put in a very good performance. Equaling her personal best of 168 cm, she took fourth place in Poland. In the men’s high jump, Dawid Bałut took 15th place with a result of 185 cm. The jumping coach is Paweł Wiśniewski.
In the 400 m hurdles, Martyna Goss, coached by Małgorzata Markowska, took a very good 5th place with her best result of the season—64.42 s.

In summary, our athletes returned from the Polish Junior Championships with two medals and 55 points in the youth sport system, placing 17th nationally as a team.
