Uniformed officers from the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec met with pupils of the Non-Public Inclusive Kindergarten “Mali Odkrywcy” as part of preventive activities.
KPP:
As part of Safety Week at the kindergarten, the children learned about pedestrian safety rules in road traffic and tested their knowledge in practice. The preschoolers were divided into groups whose task was to move along the road as cars. There were also boys who, with exceptional enthusiasm, pretended to be motorcycles, making sounds characteristic of two-wheelers, as well as pedestrians.
The Bolesławiec traffic town, located on the grounds of Primary School No. 4 (Bielska Street), is equipped with vertical and horizontal signs as well as traffic lights; it has sidewalks, a bicycle path and a railway crossing, along with various types of intersections. It is therefore an excellent place to educate the youngest children.
The officers add:
During the meeting, the children also learned what police officers do and what duties they perform in their daily service. Talking with children was also a good opportunity to remind them to maintain social distance, wear masks and gloves, and practise hand hygiene.
