37-year-old remanded in custody – the service tvn24.pl reported. “The court primarily took into account that the evidence collected indicates a high probability that the alleged act was committed. In addition, there is a risk that the suspect could obstruct the proceedings. In its reasoning, the court indicated that the case is developing and that there is a risk that, if at liberty, the suspect could potentially influence people already questioned in the case or those who are yet to be questioned as witnesses,” a representative of the District Court in Bielsk Podlaski told the outlet. He added that the suspect assured the court that “his aim was not any wrongdoing toward the victim.”

Let us recall. On Sunday, September 13, the prosecutor’s office in Bielsk Podlaski brought two charges against the 37-year-old: actions intended to sexually exploit a minor, as well as exposing her health and even her life to danger. Investigators requested his detention. The court will consider the request next Monday.

The rmf24.pl service reported:

As reported by Adam Naumczuk, head of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Bielsk Podlaski Adam Naumczuk, the 37-year-old is suspected of contacting the girl online—she was a minor under 15—while posing as her female peer, and using that deception to arrange a meeting with her for the purpose of sexual exploitation, an offense under Article 200a § 1 of the Criminal Code.

Investigators determined that 14-year-old Roksana had planned to run away from home. RMF FM:

Prosecutor Naumczuk said that the suspect admits contacting the 14-year-old and corresponding with her through a fake online profile, but denies that the purpose was ultimately to sexually exploit her.

As investigators emphasize, the suspect was unable to explain why he brought the minor there. He stated that he had not endangered her health or life because… he gave her a sleeping bag.

We reported the entire story in detail last Saturday. On September 7 this year, at around 8:15 a.m., 14-year-old Roksana from Bielsk Podlaski left home. There had been no contact with her since then. Police determined that instead of going to school, the girl went to the PKP railway station and took a train to Bolesławiec. There, at the PKP station, she met an unknown man and disappeared without a trace.

Police officers from the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec and from the Search and Rescue Group at the District Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski, whose essential member is a tracking dog, began searching for the teenager.

The intensive search lasted several hours. On September 12, a few minutes after midnight, officers found the girl. The teenager was in the basement of the ruins of a farm near Chmielno, close to Lwówek Śląski. The 14-year-old was safe and healthy and, after a medical consultation, was transported to the unit.

At the same time, a man whom police had been seeking in connection with the teenager’s disappearance was also detained. He is a 37-year-old resident of Lwówek County.

The profile Lwówek na sygnale was the first to report that the missing teenager had been found:
