Who can serve in the Police?

  • a Polish citizen of impeccable reputation who has not been convicted by a final court judgment of a criminal offence or a fiscal offence
  • enjoying full public rights
  • holding at least a secondary education
  • physically and mentally capable of serving in armed formations subject to special service discipline, to which they are prepared to submit
  • providing assurance that they will maintain confidentiality in accordance with the requirements set out in regulations on the protection of classified information
  • in addition, persons subject to military qualification should have their military service status regulated.
