The tragedy occurred last weekend. The 27-year-old Bolesławiec resident went out at night to make a few small purchases at a petrol station. He did not return. Witnesses who saw the 27-year-old Bolesławiec resident shortly before his death had the strong impression that the man was under the influence of intoxicating substances. The prosecutor’s office does not yet have the results of tests for intoxicating substances in the deceased’s body.
One of the witnesses describes meeting the 27-year-old on the night of his death. “The boy was clearly under the influence of intoxicating substances. I asked him what he had taken. He said two pills. His eyes were noticeably large and he was sweating all over; he walked ‘dancing,’” the witness says.
An autopsy was carried out on 27 August. The expert ruled out the involvement of third parties and determined that the head injury sustained by the 27-year-old was passive, meaning that the injuries resulted from a fall rather than a beating. At the expert’s request, investigators ordered histopathological and toxicological tests. Why? The fall itself was not the cause of the man’s death; the death was related to the circulatory system.
