The audacity and deceitfulness of scammers know no bounds. A woman from Bolesławiec received a call from some scoundrel who told her that healthcare facilities are currently switching to mobile numbers. And for the woman to be able to call, for example, a hospital or her clinic without any problems, it would be necessary to purchase a subscription costing PLN 50 for three years.
The price may not seem excessive, but this is nothing other than a vile and disgraceful attempt at fraud! (The scammer was spinning a yarn to his interlocutor, claiming that a special subscriber database would be created.)
A resident of our city notified her clinic about the matter, and a representative of the latter informed us. Do not be fooled!
Let us remind you that this type of crime is punishable by six months to as many as eight years behind bars.
