For some time now, a man with a small book has been walking around Bolesławiec and approaching people. He has already approached me three times within two months. He always begins by saying: “may I ask you something?”
The first time, I fell for it and said “yes, what is it?”, and he said he wanted five złoty for coffee. I was speechless. When a man dressed in super-nice clothes, wearing headphones, carrying a good phone and looking well-groomed asks for 5 złoty, it makes you stop and think. Before I managed to say anything, he said I was taking too long to think, that life was passing by and that it was a waste of time. And he gave me [...] about 5 seconds to answer. It was near the PKS bus station.
Another time, I was walking past [drogerii] Hebe. On my way to work, at around 8:40, and the same thing happened. He approached me again. But when I looked at him and heard that sentence, I did not stop; I continued walking and told him not to approach me again. Strangely, this angered him, and he started saying that he certainly had not approached me and that he felt sorry for me, etc.
Today [sobota 15 sierpnia] once again. There was a crowd of people, so why did he approach me? The pitch was identical. I told him to leave me alone. I listed the places where he had approached me. […]
Reader:
Appearance: slim, approximately 170–175 cm tall, with a goatee. Dark hair, but longer on top and dyed blond. He dresses elegantly; his shirts fit his figure perfectly. A slim, elongated face. A cross tattoo on the outside of each finger. […] He carries a small, rather thin book open in his hand, about half the size of an A5 notebook.
Have you perhaps encountered someone like this? Should I report this to the police? Has he singled me out? Because I am starting to be afraid. Should I take a photo of him next time?

And he always wears a beanie with a pom-pom and dark sunglasses.
As reported by the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters, the Reader should report to the neighbourhood police officer or duty officer and describe the course of events in detail. The neighbourhood police officer will provide information about any further procedure.
