The incident occurred on Monday, 17 August, in the morning, near the so-called Manhattan area in Bolesławiec. The driver of a Volkswagen, a 69-year-old resident of Miasto Ceramiki, hit a woman crossing the pedestrian crossing, a 68-year-old resident of Nowogrodziec municipality.
The injured woman was taken to hospital. It is not yet known how serious her injuries are.
The Bolesławiec resident lost his driving licence.
