As a result of operational activities, criminal division officers received information that one of the residents of Bolesławiec was growing cannabis on his balcony. Without waiting long, the officers knocked on the 33-year-old’s door, where they found four cannabis plants planted in pots on the terrace, at various stages of growth.
The plants were up to one metre tall. With the assistance of a forensic technician, the plants were secured and placed in police custody, while the owner of the balcony plantation was detained and taken to the police station. The man was charged under the Act on Counteracting Drug Addiction. He faces up to three years in prison.
