On Friday, July 10, funding promises for OSP units to purchase equipment and supplies were officially presented in Legnica. Volunteer firefighters from Warta Bolesławiecka:
The Wrocław Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, in cooperation with the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Warsaw, is implementing the Priority Programme entitled “Nationwide Financing Programme for Rescue Services: Funding for the Purchase of Equipment and Supplies for Volunteer Fire Service Units.”
The aim of the Programme is to improve the operational readiness of local rescue services by equipping Volunteer Fire Service units in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship with equipment necessary to prevent and mitigate the effects of natural disasters, extreme weather events or technical failures whose consequences threaten people’s lives or health, property or the natural environment.

Our unit received a funding promise worth PLN 20,000.
