The incident took place on Monday, July 6, in the evening, in Gromadka. The moped rider, a 27-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, failed to give way to a Volkswagen driven by a 43-year-old man. A collision occurred. Fortunately, no one was injured.
It turned out that the 27-year-old moped rider was drunk; he had 1.6 per mille of alcohol in his system. (He was detained by police officers from Kruszyn).
The person responsible for the collision could now face up to two years in prison.
