The incident occurred during the night of July 6–7 in Świętoszów (Osiecznica municipality). Unknown perpetrators tried to blow up an ATM using some kind of substances. When they failed, they fled the scene.
The Bolesławiec police are handling the case. Activities are underway to establish the identity of and arrest the would-be burglars. They could face between one and as many as ten years in prison.
