On Monday, September 28, the city and county cross-country relay championships were held at the MOSiR Water and Sports Centre. Teams of 10 competed over various distances, from 800 m to 1,200 m. The Bolesławiec champions were the girls from Primary School No. 4 (Eryka Baran, Maja Szocińska, Julita Stępak, Emilia Szczepan, Aleksandra Jerzyk, Anna Goleńska, Karolina Wolska, Iwona Suchodolska, Anna Szemberska and Katarzyna Kruk). The team from Primary School No. 1 won the silver medal, while the team from Primary School No. 2 took third place.
In the boys’ category, the city championship was won by the Primary School No. 1 team (Damian Dobiech, Paweł Jóźwiak, Oliwer Gasiak, Miłosz Cibor, Jakub Rajfur, Kacper Ślusarczyk, Piotr Wachowicz, Bartosz Bernacki, Oskar Wilk, Marcin Polański and Kamil Prorok). The runners-up from Bolesławiec were the competitors from Primary School No. 4. The team from Primary School No. 5 finished third.
County championships
In the primary-school category, the county champions were the girls from Nowogrodziec (Justyna Dziwisz, Patrycja Rachtan, Paulina Burdyna, Patrycja Borna, Aleksandra Polewiak, Aneta Struś, Agata Kojder, Dominika Ozga, Dominika Żukowska, Malwina Wolszczak and Natalia Raczek). The girls from Primary School No. 4 finished second, and the representatives of Primary School No. 1 came third. Among the boys, the competitors from Primary School No. 1 proved the best. The team from Nowogrodziec took second place, while the team from Primary School No. 4 finished third.
In the lower-secondary-school category, the girls’ team from GS No. 2 (Kamila Kruk, Daria Kłosowska, Sara Musiał, Paula Wilk, Katarzyna Szylin, Dominika Kamińska, Ewa Ochocka, Natalia Namaszko, Aleksandra Góralewska, Patrycja Hering, Aleksandra Dąbrowa, Paula Kowalik and Paulina Fuchs) and the boys’ team from Nowogrodziec (Roman Kukawski, Michał Nowak, Kacper Wrzeszcz, Damian Bober, Jakub Piekarz, Jarosław Mazur, Kornel Kowalczyk, Arkadiusz Horochowski, Rafał Tabor, Dawid Zarembecki, Daniel Nowak, Krystian Szczepański and Marek Pławiak) triumphed. The county runners-up were the girls’ team from Iwiny and the boys’ team from GS No. 1. Third place went to the girls’ team from Nowogrodziec and the boys’ team from GS No. 2.
In the upper-secondary-school category, the county champions were the girls from the Zespół Szkół Elektronicznych (Aleksandra Wołoszyn, Monika Walenga, Monika Rutyna, Joanna Kozak, Sylwia Michalska, Katarzyna Romaszko, Katarzyna Baryluk, Agnieszka Myszkuj, Alicja Karczmarska, Paulina Olszowy, Wioleta Mierzejewska, Monika Tyndra and Karolina Szweda). The team from ZSHiU finished second, and the team from ZSOiZ came third. Among the boys, the best were the competitors from the Zespół Szkół Mechanicznych (Mateusz Janik, Patryk Kubik, Tomasz Kowal, Bogdan Ciaciek, Paweł Gręda, Karol Najdek, Kamil Członka, Marcin Wojnowicz, Łukasz Romaszko, Tomasz Mucek, Dawid Dziobak, Przemysław Struś, Julian Partyka, Patryk Rynia and Łukasz Nowakowski). The competitors from ZSE were second, while the representatives of ZSHiU finished third.
