THE OBSTETRICS AND GYNAECOLOGY WARD OF THE HEALTHCARE INSTITUTION IN BOLESŁAWIEC INFORMS ABOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF HAVING FAMILY BIRTHS DURING THE COVID-19 EPIDEMIC.
Family births may take place subject to detailed requirements for women in labour and their accompanying persons:
a) the person accompanying the woman during labour must complete an epidemiological questionnaire
b) the accompanying person must wear a mask and gloves throughout their stay in the hospital
c) the woman in labour and her accompanying person stay in a single, individual delivery room equipped with a separate bathroom
d) the person accompanying the woman in labour may be admitted when labour begins and should leave the ward within 2 hours after the birth
e) people who are in quarantine or isolation may not participate in the birth or enter the hospital premises.
